Is pain or injury stopping you in your tracks?
Why suffer in silence when The Surrey Osteopaths in Carshalton can help?
We know a lot of people continue battling through their pain and restricted movement because they are not sure whether treatment would help, don't know who is best to treat them (osteopath, physiotherapist or chiropractor) or can't get an appointment with their doctor or NHS provider.
A lot of conditions that could be easily treated are allowed to get worse or become chronic long-term problems purely as a result of not tackling them early with the appropriate treatment.
Our osteopaths are highly skilled practitioners who qualify after 4 years of full-time study, are registered with the General Osteopathic Council and are experienced in effectively treating a wide range of conditions.
Osteopathy aims to return full function to the body, treating it as a whole unit using touch, manipulation, stretching and massage to increase joint mobility and reduce muscle tension.

What our clients say about us......
'I have used Surrey Osteopaths for many years during my playing career to be treated for various knee, back, shoulder and neck injuries. Ricky has always been spot on with his diagnosis and treatment, his rehabilitation has always assisted me in getting back on the pitch fighting fit. His practice has everything you want from a physician, from knowledge to integrity and care. I would always recommend Surrey Osteopaths for sports injury treatment.'

Charlie Symonds
Former Player Manager Kingston RFC

'What a difference treatment with you has made. I have had a painful arm, shoulder and rib for years after an accident  despite having physiotherapy and seeing different osteopaths before.

Since seeing Ricky at The Surrey Osteopaths he diagnosed the latent underlying problem and has treated this successfully. Oh joy! Ribs fine – shoulder fine – arm fine. Thank you so much.'

Joan Palmer
A patient who had seen many different practitioners but nothing had helped until she came to The Surrey Osteopaths
.
'My sincere thanks go to Ricky Kempton, for the wonderful relief he as given me. I originally went to him for pain in my shoulder and also recurring pain from sciatica. He has also given me great pain relief after my knee operation.

A combination of treatment, advice and doing the exercises he suggested, have given me great relief and improved my general health and ability to exercise.

Many thanks'

Noreen Oxlade
What is osteopathy?
“Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of conditions. It works with the structure and function of the body based on the principle that well-being depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues”
(General Osteopathic Council)

Osteopaths use touch, manipulation, stretching and massage to increase joint mobility, reduce muscle tension and enhance the blood and nerve supplies to the tissues (i.e. the body’s own healing mechanisms).
They may use a combination of structural, cranial and visceral osteopathic methods in their approach to treatment.
